My son started baseball when he was young--the eye and hand thing messed him up.

Guess what--he excels at wrestling, football and running.

It is really about the child. I let him try a variety of sports and the wrestling and football are his top ones and he is a natural. There are many types of sports, including dance, ice skating, etc.

My son tried a few sports and found two that is great. He is actually winning tournaments.

I think it is the ability of the child not the dyslexia. The shape of the body, genetics all come into play.

See what works for her--her passion, her competitive nature, etc. For my son, his nature to win at certain sports makes him the best that he can be.

My two best friends both suffer from dyslexia, and are amazing at sports, football especially. I find that even though they have dyslexia, they're are great logical thinkers.
