We are a Franco-American family living in Paris. Our son is in 2nd grade in a bilingual program, though French is the dominate language that all subjects are taught in. He was diagnosed after 1st grade as Dyslexic and has been following the French approach seeing an “orthophoniste” off the school premises 30 min a week. After a trimester of weak and slipping grades, I ask that this be upped to three times (3 hours) a week. Would like to be able to reach out to someone in France to talk about best approach and how to manage the bilingual complexity added.
