PostPost subject: Where to learn more about dyslexia    Posted: Wed May 18, 2011 11:09 am Reply with quote

This is my second year as a reading and learning specialist at my school and I am seeing more and more students diagnosed with dyslexia. I want to find somewhere to go to learn more about dyslexia and how I can offer support in the classroom. Anyone have a suggestion for workshops/conferences....?

You can help that student by providing an atmosphere which is conducive to learning for all pupils within their class. Encourage good organizational skills by the use of folders and dividers to keep work easily accessible and in an orderly fashion. And Break tasks down into small easily remembered pieces of information.
