Coursera: Exciting New Online Dyslexia Course
A very exciting announcement that positively impacts children with dyslexia, their parents and their teachers is the Dyslexia course taught by Sally Shaywitz on the online Coursera website. This 12 hour course is available to all and is free. Participants who choose to can receive a certificate of completion for a nominal fee. It is scheduled to go live in October of this year to welcome National Dyslexia Month. We are especially excited about this Coursera Dyslexia Course because not only is there up-to-date content but also interviews with several wonderful men and women who are dyslexic and who are also at the top of their respective fields who share how they got there and their perspectives on dyslexia.
